  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Candice Wilcox -- A great book for psychologist to use for their practice! : Going through the book I immediately thought of the word “involved”. The book contains a picture of an emotion. On the next page, it explains the emotion. This book contains a lot of information. I wonder what age limit this book is for? From the age of 1 or so, children begin to express themselves and try to make sense of the world. When they cry, parents want them to feel better. Hopefully in simple words, their child begins to understand why they are feeling and acting a certain way. This book could be used in this circumstance. Simple may be good in this circumstance. This book would be great for those who are seeing children in their psychology practice. Some children struggle with Aspergers which is a form of autism. Individuals who struggle with this may not be able to understand the concept of emotions. The psychologist could use this book to explain how to identify emotions in themselves and in others. • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Beth Steffens -- So great for neuro divergent, autism spectrum, and all students of life! : for those parents who may struggle to teach about emotions or have a child who has difficulty in recognizing others and their own emotional cues. Each emotion is discussed in a single scenario, “When X happens, I feel Y”. The following page then gives detailed physical descriptions about what our body and face does when we feel this emotion. So great for neuro divergent, autism spectrum, and all others! ( Reviewed in the United States on September 25, 2021 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Ashley Kemp -- WE LOVE THIS!! : My daughter and I love this adorable book. It shows a range of emotions, "good" ones and "bad" ones, and ones like confident and anxious. At the bottom of EVERY emotion page is "and it's okay to feel this way." That's something EVERY kid needs to hear. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 9, 2021 )

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Kay -- Reviewed in the United States on October 7, 2021 : ( and informative book for parents/guardians to be able to sit down with their children and help them learn properly about their emotions so they can safely and comfortably express them and know its all valid! )
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars from BT -- Great guide on emotions for kids : I received a complimentary copy of Name These Feelings to review. I really liked how book can be used to teach kids about different emotions that they may be feeling. For young kids, it can be difficult for them to know and to verbalize what emotion they’re feeling, so I like that the book identifies a feeling and then shows a face with features that can be associated with that feeling. I love how the book acknowledges that it’s okay to feel all different kinds of emotions and gives tips on what to do when feeling a certain emotion. • 5.0 out of 5 stars from D. McGeehan -- Great book to talk about feelings with your kids : This is a new favorite here. My kids really enjoy this book. I liked that it expresses that it’s ok to have different feelings, good and bad. I like the tips for handling the feelings, but think they would make more sense if they were grouped together or after each feeling. The pictures are simple and the scenarios are perfect for young kids to understand and relate to. ( Reviewed in the United States on September 30, 2021 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Ashley Pleasant -- Easy Elementary Emotional Learning! : On the name these feelings book, we really liked how there was a small yet concentrated amount of information per page to understand to the corresponding emotion. The pages were not overwhelming to try to read and understand. They were both able to sound out all the words as they were elementary enough to be understood. Both kiddo’s really liked the style of illustrations; they drove the point home. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 16, 2021 )
